The Staphylococcus Educational Leadership Foundation is dedicated to research and education on the recognition, treatment and prevention of staphylococcus with a particular interest in community associated infections. Our goal is to improve clinical and patient education and outcomes while raising awareness about community associated Staphylococcal infections on a global scale.

Our target educational audience includes: Infectious disease physicians, microbiologists, pharmacists, infection preventionists, nurses, multi-specialties of clinicians including family practice and dermatologists, public health providers, researchers, epidemiologists and lawyers. Certain programs are also be designed to create awareness and educate the public. More…

2010 Staphyloccus Leadership Conference a Success!

The 2010 Staph Leadership Conference, held prior to ICAAC in Boston, MA, was intended to gather international expertsto participate in a content development and planning meeting addressing the recognition, treatment and prevention (DTP) of community associated staphyloccocus aureus. A consensus statement and education focusing on staphyloccocus aureus were addressed. The faculty and advisors also began developing content for the 2nd Annual Staphylococcus Clinical Exchange Meeting. More…
